Organic root vegetable gardening is more focused. If your key phrase is three to five words long you can have a more targeted niche.

SEO TIP #5. Once you have your key phrase, use that phrase in your page’s title. Now this is a SEO trick that has been overdone – at least in Google’s eyes. Other search engines like the phrase as the title but Google seems to be suspicious of phrases that have been over-optimized. The way around this, if you want Google’s attention is to make the title twice as long as the keyword phrase. For instance “organic root vegetable gardening” could be called “beginner’s guide to organic root vegetable gardening”.

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. But mind you, keywords shouldn’t be over used, but should be just sufficient enough to appear at important places.
If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line, then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam site.

Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.

Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain keyword for five times in the content. The keyword density on that page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the total number of words that appear on your web page. So here it is 5 divided by 100 = .05. Because keyword density is a percentage of the total word count on the page, multiply the above by 100, that is 0.05 x 100 = 5%

The accepted standard for a keyword density is between 3% and 5%, to get recognized by the search engines and you should never exceed it.

Remember, that this rule applies to every page on your site. It also applies to not just to one keyword but also a set of keywords that relates to a different product or service. The keyword density should always be between 3% and 5%. Simple steps to check the density: • Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into a word-processing software program like Word. • Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and click ‘Select All’. It's been a gruelling week at work - the weekend is finally here. It's been particularly tough and you're really fed up of the 9-5 grind and the same job - but you've a mortgage to pay, kids to feed and a family to support. With a well earned beer you sit down at your computer and type something similar to one of these phrases into Google.

In fact any one of hundreds of similar phrases. Sounds familiar - well I've certainly done it. There in front of your eyes will be the answer to your dreams.

Be your own boss, no skill required, work your own hours, make thousands - the stories go on and on. There will also be lots of advice on avoiding the scams. The worst of these schemes will generally be in the sponsored Pay per Click ads to the top and right of the results but also in the search results. Of course there are legitimate sites offering good advice as well but how can you tell which is which !!

Well common sense generally - remember these scam sites are preying on the fact that you really want to belive them. You want there to be a way of earning 20k a week for minimal effort - because that would change your life. Now stop and think - if you did have this method would you tell everyone on the internet ? I began to get involved in making money on the internet back to August, 2005. I still remember clearly how I felt at the very beginning. My gold rush story began with a network marketing company that sells website package services. I affiliated with it thinking I would be a rich man by sending emails only. Two months later, I gained nothing in my downline but pains and frustrations. Then I quit.

The frustrations I had just experienced did not help me learn the truth about making money on the internet but rather magnify my wild illusions. I jumped into some “fancy” online program. I cannot even remember its name now. The basic rule is that one “deposits” some cash in the program and the amount of cash generates really high interests in a given period of time. For instance, one puts into $100 and gets back $110 one month later. I put my hard earned $500 into it and it was gone forever due to many chargebacks the credit card companies had received from the members of the site.

I could not get over losing $500, so I aimed at another such program. It promised its members they could get 12% interests from their deposits daily for 12 days. Well, the founder of this program was quite a figure then and seemed very authentic to many experienced online marketers. It had hundreds of thousands of members worldwide. I donated my hard earned money again, about $300. Soon later, stormpay made pyramid scheme charges against the founder of this online program and they won the case. The incident made quite an impact on the internet. But I’d rather say the founders of such programs have no more faults than their members who want to make easy and quick money on the net. That is nothing but an absolute illusion.

Part 2 The setback

After I lost about $800 in my illusions, I came back to the company that sold website package services. I did this because I had my faith in it and I had a new upline sponsor who promised to help me recruit members. Though I’m still with this company now, my sponsor didn’t fulfill his promise. That’s also the important advice I want to give to all the new online marketers. Do NOT expect your sponsor to do the work for you. You can sure ask your sponsor about how to do it, but if you want to succeed in this business, you have to do it yourself.

I turned to traffic exchange websites then. What are traffic exchange websites? You can submit your affiliate program referral web page to these websites and click on the referral links from others to earn credits. And these credits can bring clicks to your page, that is, some traffic to your referral web page. If someone will sign up, they become your downline members. So I personally think it’s not an effective way to expand your downline organization.

Then I chose to buy leads on other sites. I once spent around $70 only to recruit one new member. I became more impatient and put more money into improper advertising. Here’s another important warning: Impatience is the No. 1 killer in online business.

Part 3 The Right Way

After I wasted 18 months and $1500, I began to realize the truth of working from home online. Many online millionaires are affiliates. This is the best way to make money on the net. Stick with one or two superior affiliate programs and do not be distracted. Working from home online is a business. If you want to get rich in one week or one month, you need to try gambling.

So I finally decided to build my own website so that I can put together my overviews of all my affiliate programs. Now I fully focus on increasing the ranking of my website in search engines. It’s no way an easy job, but I know this is what I should do. To tell the truth, I knew nothing about SEO(search engine optimization) at first. Your keywords should be something the average searcher will type. For example, you might write something about lower back pain right. If you use one of Googles free tool to find out good keywords like keyword track and type in lower back pain, it will give you all the keywords that are associated with that phrase. You want to pick the highest ones and use those.

I know, I know, "But, Gary, isn't everyone else using the same keywords?" Yes! But I'd rather play the game then be in a league of my own with no fans. Think about it. If your talking about lower back pain, you want to pick a keyword like lower back pain not Erector Spinae pain. People won't search for that.

Next, is your density. To Boost your ranking with Google, you want your keywords density to be about 4 % of your entire article. This will boost your chance without putting you in the red.

When Googles spiders look for your keyword, they like to see it a lot. That will tell the spiders that this is what this article is about. You can use a tool from Google. Just type in keyword density and use the free ones.

Next is your content. To Boost your ranking with Google, you must change your content regularly. Googles spiders hate left over night. Get the picture. Even if you have to right your articles over and over again putting more and more information in the mix, if it's keeping you on the first page then go for it!

Why is a sponsor so important to your Home Based Business? If you think about it, shouldn't you be able to do all the things that your sponsors did and make a great living for yourself? Your sponsor isn't any different from you, right?
Well, let me explain why you need a good sponsor in your corner. Think back the first time you tied your shoes or the first day your parent took the training wheels off your bike.

Do you remember how hard it was for you to get the knot right or how many times you fell and scrapped your elbow?

How to Create a Free Website Using NVU!

Creating A Website For Free is a simple easy task that can bring in loads of income. Most people know having a website means a cash growth potential, however, many people simply do not have enough money to have a website created. So, I'm going to show you how to Create A Website For Free! Having a free website makes your profit go through the roof! It is important for you to view other websites to see what works and use the same technique in your free website. You should also have some good products for your website. OK! Lets create your free website!
Things you will need:

- NVU

- a free auto responder (Google one)

- a free web hosting site (Google one)

- a free ftp up loader (filezilla)

- a domain name (this will cost you about 10 bucks.)

NVU works like FrontPage. Now that you have NVU, lets create your free website!

Background and Page Setup

First, lets create your background. At the top of NVU, next to the Paragraph Headings under the Publish Button, you will see two boxes. One is for text coloring and the one behind it is for the sheet coloring.

Choose which color you want your website background then click OK.

Next, lets create your template. At the top of NVU you will find Table. Click on that. NVU lets you choose multiple cells, but I usually choose one cell. It's a little easier to manage. So, lets click one box.

As you can see, your page is the same color as your background. To change this, simply double click inside your table, click on Table, click the gray box next to Background Color, and choose the color you want. Click Apply then OK. Now the color you have chosen.

(i.e. If you want to get rid of the border around your page simply double click on your page, click on table, and zero out border, spacing, and padding. Click Apply and OK. NVU gives you a red dotted line to show the tables parameter. This is an invisible table!)

Next, you're going to want to center your page. Double click in the page, click on Table, and find Table Alignment and scroll down to Center. Click Apply and OK.

To increase the size of your free website table simply hover over the white box on either side of you page and enlarge.

(i.e. NVU uses a circle that has an X inside of it and an arrow on both sides. The circle, if clicked, will delete that website table and the arrows create another table that is connected to the main one. This is why I'd rather not choose more then one cell that was talked about previously.)

Template Setup

Now, lets set up a template inside your page. To get your cursor in the top left corner of your website page double click, look for Content Alignment, next to Vertical, scroll down to Top, click Apply and OK.

Next using NVU, right click on your free website page, scroll down to Table Insert, click on table and your new table will appear. In order to customize repeat all the steps above.

Video Setup

Now, lets say you want to host a video from youtube in your website. Grab the code from the video, create an invisible table, put your cursor inside the table, go to Insert at the top of NVU, scroll down to HTML, a new window will pop up and place the code there. You can't see your video and that why you want to create an invisible table. Unlike FrontPage, NVU does not have the feather for you to see it in the preview page.

(i.e. if you want to write something on the side of your video, click on the arrow of your tables parameter and a new table will connect to your video table.)

There you have it! You can start creating your website content. It is a good idea to save your free website template for future use. You also want to save your free website as a index.html.

Uploading your Website

Now, NVU makes uploading your free website to your free web hosting site very simple. All you have to do is click Publish at the top of NVU, plug in the appropriate information and click Publish. NVU will send your free website to your web hosing site. I rather use filezilla because some web hosting sites require you to put your free website in a certain file.

When uploading your free website don't forget to follow the instructions of your web hosting site. I spent two hours trying to upload my free website before I figured out what was wrong!

As you can see, NVU is a great way to create your free website. NVU gives you a lot more options then what I have spoke about. You should always test to see if your free website is working properly.

Making Money Online Without Getting Scammed!

When I evaluate a company, I look for these key points. Keep in mind, when I join a company, my #1 goal is to make money and to do it legitimately. I do not want to hurt anyone or rip anyone off. This is what I've learned and these guidelines will help you determine what company is right for you.
1. If you are not making at least 75% of the upfront commission when you make a sale, forget it. This means that you are doing all the work and the company and/or the person above you is making all the money. Guess what that is called having....a JOB!

2. If you have to have 1000, 10,000 or 20,000 people in your organization before you make any real money, DO NOT Join. Most people will NEVER get there.

3. If they teach you to hold home parties and invite all your friends. Run away fast. Trust me I have been there done that. Now when my friends and family see me coming they scatter!

4. If they have a sales pitch 2-3 times a day and only 2-3 training classes per week. This means that the company is more interested in selling you than training you how to make money long term

5. If you can't break even or get into profit with 3 sales, forget it.

6. If you can't speak with the owners or the corporate office via phone or web-in-ar, Forget it. I like to know whom I'm doing business with before I will do business with them.

7. If it is a start up or in pre launch, forget. The chances of these companies becoming the next Amway are about as good as winning the lottery. At least with the lottery, you have a chance to win once or twice a week. You might as well go to Vegas and blow your money on a good time. At least you'll have some great memories, see a great show and have a great meal.

These are not all the rules for success on the internet, but this is a great guideline to follow when evaluating an internet company. Use these guidelines to help you narrow down your choices for choosing a company that best fits yours goals

Stuffing Envelopes Home Business Scam

U.S. Postal Inspectors report that the most common home business scam is stuffing envelopes. The advertisements promise you a huge income in exchange for stuffing envelopes at home. Some claim to pay as much as $4 per envelope. However, postal inspectors claim that none of these envelope stuffing opportunities deliver what they promise.
How many companies could profit if they paid people $4 to stuff an envelope? Why would a company pay somebody to stuff envelopes when there are machines that can quickly stuff thousands of envelopes in a short period of time?

How does a stuffing envelope scam work?

First, you respond to an advertisement saying that you will earn big money by stuffing envelopes. You have to send in your signup fee to get started. Having done this, the scammer just made a nice profit from you. If you sent in a $449 signup fee to the person placing the ad, you just lost $449. But there is more. This scam presents more ways for you to part with your money.

Secondly, after you send in your money, the scam artist will send you an information kit to get started at stuffing envelopes for money. This information kit will teach you how to send the same ad that you answered to other people or place similar ads in various newspapers or magazines. This can be very expensive. When you send out the information kit to somebody else, you have stuffed your envelope! You get paid a few dollars for stuffing an envelope if the victim who answered your ad sends the original scammer the $$449. This is a form of multi-level scamming.

Do you want to be a part of this deal?

Keep in mind that spending the money to advertise your little envelope stuffing scam is very costly and nets a very low response rate. This work-at-home business is a rip off. Walk away from it!

Warning signs of a stuffing envelope scam.

You are stuffing envelopes. This is perhaps the oldest scam in the book yet there is a new victim who succumbs to it every day.
You get an offer via e-mail. If somebody e-mails you about the newest and most exciting home business opportunity, you are better off putting the e-mail in the trash bin. If you get involved, you will not make any money. You will most likely get swindled out of some money if you do get involved.
You earn your money by signing up other envelope stuffers (distributors). When a business opportunity involves signing up people who sign up people and there is no real product or service sold, this fits the definition of a pyramid scheme. This is illegal. This is a crime. This crime could put you in federal prison even if you were victimized by sending in your money to the scam artist.
Promises of a high income. As with any business, there are no guarantees for success. If you are promised that a home business is foolproof and failure-proof, then avoid it. Promises are easier made than honored. There are plenty of home businesses that are legitimate and do not make empty promises.
There are lots of consumer fraud schemes out there. It is up to you, the consumer, to educate yourself to recognize what is and is not legitimate. By doing so, you can minimize becoming a victim to the crime of theft by deception.

Back in the early days of network marketing, multi-level marketing (MLM) used to be a respectable business opportunity. Nowadays, just about all MLM programs are illegitimate scams.
Many of today's multi-level marketing programs involve some degree of deception. Either they promise unrealistic sales and incomes or they are nothing more than pyramid schemes disguised as MLM programs. A pyramid scheme is when you earn money by recruiting other people into the program with no real product or service sold. This is bad in two ways. First, you end up losing money you put into the business. Second, pyramids are illegal, and your participation in it makes it a crime. No amount of smooth talking could ever change that. Making money by signing up new distributors who make money signing up new distributors is a business opportunity that is destined to fail.

The primary tool: deception

Some legitimate network marketing programs use deception as a tool to lure the unsuspecting recruits and convince them into becoming distributors. Other programs promise huge incomes, and yet other MLM's involve products of exorbitant value. Health and nutrition networking programs are a good example of this. If you have to stretch the truth or even lie to consumer in order to sell them on an MLM, then you might want to think twice about getting involved in the distribution of its products. If you think that your MLM's products are worthless, then how can you convince others to think differently? One could argue that all networking programs are scams and should be avoided. However, without investigating what a business opportunity offers, one should not be too quick to dismiss a network marketing company as a pyramid scheme.

Traditionally, MLM programs have a reputation of being poor enough that everybody should be skeptical of anybody making the attempt to sign you up as a distributor. Research the program thoroughly before you make a commitment to sign up as a distributor. "Investigate before you invest," as the old adage goes.

Warning Signs of an MLM Scam

You earn money by signing up new members. If the members you sign up only make money by recruiting more members, then this opportunity is most likely a scam.

You are not selling a good product. A reputable network marketing company will have quality merchandise that people are willing to buy. If they are junk merchandise, then avoid this opportunity. Only an idiot would be silly enough to buy junk merchandise.

You are selling to distributors. If you are a distributor, why would you need to sell products to other distributors to make your money? You are not really earning money if your products are purchased by people who do not need it.

You are promised a huge income. As with any business opportunity, there are no guarantees for success. Therefore, there is no guarantee that you will make big money. Success in MLM or any business opportunity does NOT come to you. It comes from you. That means you have to put in lots of time and effort on your part to make your business a success. Be skeptical of programs that make promises of big money. They are most likely empty promises.

You can succeed if you work part-time. Network marketing is like any other business, you have to put in lots of time and effort to get results. If you do not put in your 2 cents worth, you will not make any money worth talking about. MLM is a business where you work for yourself every minute of the day trying to find new distributors or customers. If they say that you can work this business only part-time and make a full-time income, they are lying through their teeth to get you to sign up. Successful networkers never take a vacation because their business is a 24 hour-a-day job.

Building An Opt-In List Builds Profitable Relationships

MLM Training - How to Overcome the

If you want to be successful in building your MLM business you must know how to overcome many objections. Read this MLM training tip and learn the secret behind getting prospects over the "no time" and "no money" objections.
An anonymous person sent this great question to me from the Brilliant Exchange website.

A problem I face is: "How would you handle an objection based on not having enough money or time? These are the two I seem to get over and over. Thank you."

You are not the first to hear these objections!

Absolutely everyone who has ever come to me for MLM training has had to answer these objections from many prospects! These objections are what I call "common objections." Meaning you'll get them frequently. The reason they are common is because they are an "escape" for the prospect.

"Escape" from what?

Getting what they want. I know that seems odd - but it's the truth.

Let me explain this better.

By the way, this is fully explained with examples in my MLM training CD Professional Inviter. I highly recommend you study the section on handling objections. You are at such a disadvantage if you don't fully know this information.

Envision this…your prospect has something they want or need - more time, more money, a boat, a plane, new golf clubs, etc. Why is it a "want" or a "need" to them? Because they don't have it yet. Why don't they have it? Because they can't get it on their own - obviously so, otherwise they'd have it! They need someone to help them get it.

This is where it gets very interesting so read closely!

The "escape" they've used before (to themselves and others) is "I don't have ______." The blank is filled in with some "phrase" that has always given them an escape because truthfully they don't believe they can GET WHAT THEY WANT.

Since this seems a little weird, let me give you an example (unrelated to MLM).

I was helping a company write a post card ad for their personal fitness training business. They were trying to get new clients. I asked several questions and finally came up with this ad:

"Sure you can get in shape on your own…but why haven't you? Admit you need help! Whether its knowledge or discipline, something is obviously missing otherwise you'd have the body you want. Let me help you."

You see, a person who "wants" to get in shape "pretends they don't need help." But they OBVIOUSLY DO! A person "getting" in shape is at the gym!

Now let me bring it back to MLM. A prospect says (in her mind as well as to you) that she wants a brand new car. Truthfully she doesn't really believe she can get it and she has proof she can't get it - because THERE'S NO NEW CAR IN THE DRIVE WAY!

This lack of belief is what causes prospects to state something like, "I don't have time."

When I was brand new in my MLM business, I brought a prospect to an opportunity meeting where the speaker was making $40,000 per month. After the meeting I asked Jim if he was ready to get started and he said, "I don't have the time." That was the strangest thing I'd ever heard. Why was it that he HAD time to make $1500 a month, but he DIDN'T HAVE the time to make $40,000 a month?

That mystery is what caused me to realize that "no time" or "no money" are not the real objections. If a person really believed they could make $40,000 a month they would ATTACK THE BUSINESS.

I was recently at a live MLM training event and someone came up to talk to me after I spoke and was telling me why they couldn't make the business work. All her problems had to do with not being able to properly talk with her prospects. I gave her some verbal solutions and she replied, "Wow that makes a lot of sense." I then told her about Professional Inviter, which teaches network marketers exactly how to effectively talk with prospects. Guess what she said to me? "I don't have the money."

Now - does she really believe she can learn to do the business? No! For the cost of a shirt or two in her closet she could solve the reason she's failing in MLM. Instead she would rather use her escape.

See how it works?

So, the way you REALLY handle the objection is follow the objection handling remedy in Professional Inviter:

1. Listen completely through the question/objection. 2. Confirm understanding. 3. Make the question or objection valid to the prospect. 4. Handle or facilitate handling Questions and/or Objections. 5. Complete the handling and return to the previous step of the Inviting formula

The absolute key is step #4.

You do everything you can to FACILITATE handling the objection; instead of handling it for them. The prospect is one who decided on their escape - only they can remove it. I sincerely hope this MLM training tip helps you the next time a prospect tells you he doesn't have enough time, or she doesn't have the money.

Success is what anyone wants, whether it is in a relationship, starting a business, marketing the business you have now, or just making money. If you envision that success, and have the passion and purpose to make it a reality, you’ll have it!
First you need to have the success of what you want to achieve clearly in your mind. That is the vision. Then you need the belief that you can make it. If you believe it, you can achieve it. And you must get rid of all the beliefs ingrained that say you can’t. Sometimes you may need support and assistance to really get these things nailed, in which case a mentor could be a great help.

You take Michael Jordan. Many don’t have a clue as to what Michael Jordan actually went through, even as a young boy, getting his vision accomplished. He got cut from his varsity team at one point. His whole passion and dream were squelched. But he didn’t let that stop him. He unleashed his belief that he could and would do it. He gave his vision life! That’s what he did to achieve his success.

Another person who had the ability to unleash the power of his vision was Walt Disney. He had the ability to unleash the power of his beliefs. He had a vision that he could open such a place as Disneyland, then later Walt Disney World. He could believe he was going to make it happen, develop a plan, then put that plan into action. Maybe a step at a time, but he did it! That is why we enjoy the fruits of his labor today, even long past his death. Because he unleashed the power of his beliefs!

After Walt Disney had passed away, and Roy Disney, Walt’s brother, and a reporter were at Walt Disney World on opening day, a conversation was had that expressed it all. The interviewing reporter said to Roy, “Man, this must be a bittersweet day. We’re opening up Walt Disney World and Walt’s not even here to see it. How does that make you feel, Roy?” And Roy stood back for a minute and looked at the reporter and said, “There’s a difference between somebody who makes the news and somebody who creates the news. My brother had the ability to see this way before any of us and that’s why you’re seeing it here today.”

You must put your visions to life. When you go to bed at night, you must ask yourself did you give it your all. Every second and every breath you took, did you give it your all? Did you give your all to your projects, your relationships, your children? Did you give your all to marketing your business, to your store, to your clients? Did you give your all to your dreams and your vision? You must stop devoting time and energy to the negative. You must not spend any time at all on the questions like: “What if I can’t do it?” “What if I won’t do it?” “What if they don’t like me?” You must focus on what you can do and watch the miracles happen.

Don’t let your past beliefs stick you and stop you! Remember; yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. So maybe you have an idea that is powerful in your mind. It’s waiting to get out and be unleashed. Now is the time to unleash it! Don’t wait! Don’t think about it! Don’t Dream about it…Live it!

A Few Key Differences Between Network Marketing and Affiliate Marketing

There are many people going online and Google searching the words 'network marketing affiliate program'. It is hard to tell what they will come up with, a program that is an affiliate program or a network marketing program. This artice is not about which is better, network marketing or affiliate marketing but more about the differences between them!
If you surveyed 100 people and asked them whether they preferred affiliate marketing or network marketing, you would probably come up with about a 50-50 split.

In this article we will identify a few main differences between network marketing and affiliate marketing, and you can decide for yourself which one is best for you. You may find yourself interested in both!

First of all, in network marketing you can build a downline of distributors and get paid on their efforts several levels deep. Each compensation plan for the various MLM companies will be different.

So, it is very important to be aware of how you get paid with the company that you join. But it is not improbable to see your commission checks, earning percentages on products sold several levels beneath you.

With affiliate marketing, you get paid on your personal sales. In other words, you can earn money on frontline affiliates that you personally enroll. You will never earn any commissions with affiliate marketing downlines beyond the first level of your personally enrolled affiliates.

There are still make people making tremendous amounts of money with affiliate marketing, but they do not have the potentially large downline groups that an affiliate in a network marketing business might have.

Secondly, most affiliate marketing programs are free to join, while network marketing programs often require a joining fee to get started and in some cases an ongoing monthly or yearly admin fee as well. Again, there's nothing wrong with this, it is simply a difference in business models. For this reason, many people start and fail in affiliate marketing at just as high a rate as network marketing has experienced in the past.

The internet has greatly improved the odds for success in network marketing and as people develop more skills the success rate in affiliate marketing is beginning to climb as well. If there still is a problem with network marketing it is because most people cannot sell or recruit.

People will join an affiliate program and know right up front that they are going to be selling products and that's what they're expected to do. Many affiliate marketers never ever recruit anyone. Therefore, they need not worry about the multi-level affiliate programs.

These are true business people who make their money selling products online. The emphasis of network marketing is still on building a distributorship. So people spend more time trying to recruit people than they actually do selling products.

Christopher: As you know, money is a topic people enjoy learning more about. The articles and items I created about money achieved popularity and I could actually track this through my website stats also. I desire to give people what they want, so I decided to write an entire book about creating wealth. The book contains 87 money mastery methods from me and from other authors.

Now real wealth entails more than just money, and I desired to encourage people to go beyond materialism to the durable riches. These durable riches include spirit, relationships, emotions, family, and wholeness. People think they want money but they really want peace and loving harmony. Many of the money mastery methods help people to adopt this increased perspective on wealth, and understand themselves better.

My nine year old boy loves making pots and wants to become a potter. I encourage him every way I can. If you want a successful business, then build it around your interests. I love writing articles and books about mind, spirit, and human potential, and I enjoy researching topics and then presenting them to others.

Some of my boys may become internet marketers and writers, but I hope only if they truly enjoy writing, computers, and creating web sites.

Secondly, don’t focus on the million dollar income, but rather focus on giving a million dollars worth of value. Think, "How can I give a million dollars worth of value to others over the next few years using my talents and interests?" People are only going to give you money if you give them something of value in return.

The computer simply makes it easier because it’s possible to connect with thousands of people every day!

The computer also allows you to set up automated value delivery systems (such as with my downloadable books), which you can’t do when you make pots one by one.

Jinger: What marketing technique do you find to be the most effective, and how do you use it?

Would you tell us one or two of your best marketing tips?
Christopher: I’ve experimented with many marketing techniques and they all work to some extent. I use viral books and tell a friend forms and mind puzzles and split testing and lots of strategies.

The marketing technique most effective for my business is simply building a big list of subscribers to my daily newsletter. Instead of a customer seeing a sales page and either buying your book or not buying, you persuade them to subscribe to a valuable newsletter.

In this way, you now can email them directly, with their permission! My I Create Reality newsletter is actually a short daily one, and this is too often for some people and they unsubscribe. But on the other hand, thousands and thousands of others read my short inspirational message every single day. I want to provide a bit of motivation and spirit in their inbox to counteract all the negative they receive each day!

One tip on getting more subscribers is to use more than one form. I collect subscribers from over 30 different pages on multiple sites for my I Create Reality Newsletter. For my Internet Profits Newsletter, I have about eight subscription forms now on separate pages.

Another tip is to use a different form on each page so you can measure the actual numbers and percentages of people who sign up. For example, my subscription form on my "quantum physics" article page displays a 13 percent sign up rate, whereas the form on the "invisible power" page gets almost twice the sign ups at 25 percent!

Then you study the pages and ask "Why"? You can learn so much from this.
Jinger: What trends do you see in internet marketing? What do you see in the future of internet marketing?

Christopher: I foresee a huge increase into additional health, alternative health, and beauty products. Alternative health will provide great opportunities for those who can anticipate changes and respond quickly to changes.

I’m a believer in and consumer of alternative health products and plan to get into this field more myself with some good affiliate programs! Consumable products allow a good internet marketer to gain continued income from one good referral. Even my 14 year old boy pointed out to me the value of consumable products, explaining how people will order the same item again and again.

Another trend I see is an increasing difference between unskilled affiliates and skilled affiliates. An unskilled affiliate merely provides a link to a product. On the other hand, the skilled affiliate "educates" the consumer about the product (and the benefits), and "primes" the consumer and THEN provides a contextual link!

In order to succeed as an affiliate, you must "pre-sell" the customer so that the desire for the product grows. One product I promote (as an affiliate) enjoyed success from the very first try. I’ve sold hundreds and hundreds of this high-priced item over the last two years, and thought a lot about why this product enjoyed such success.

The reason is that I (unknowingly but sincerely), did a super job at mentally preparing people to visit the other site. All I did is share my love for the product, do some education, and give my results.

Jinger: What projects are you currently working on, and where do you plan to take your business from here?

Christopher: One fun project in development is "Make Your Day Light Cards". These cards will contain beautiful pictures and inspirational sayings, and can be sent electronically to your friends and family to "Make Their Day." This project will require me to learn about databases and dynamically generated web pages, so it’s good I like to learn new skills!

I’m also working on seven chakra meditations with images and sound, about 60 seconds each, to help in balancing, spinning, and harmonizing the chakras. Ideas float all over, and I have pages of ideas.

Several of my friends (other internet marketers) have sponsored Perpetual Light Fund Awards of $100 each, and allowed me to expand that project!

I intend to build up my Light is Real site with articles and resources until people come to that site first for their light worker studies and needs. I also involve my older boys in projects, including income generating projects (that excites them). They create downloadable items, teach me graphics, and sometimes collect stats. I plan to further involve them in the business as they are interested.

On a personal note, one project I’m working on is to move my office upstairs. Right now I’m just in part of a big open room downstairs and while I love the visits from my boys most of the time, sometimes it’s just too much! So we will convert a study/library into an office with a little more privacy and I’m so excited.

I can't believe it. I've talked to many, many people who are afraid to make a decision to go into network marketing. They've heard stories and rumors. Instead of investigating and coming to their own conclusions, they believe all of what they hear. They rather work two or three jobs and never see their kids or their spouse than to do a little digging, a little research and find out the truth about network marketing-the thing that could change their financial destiny and allow them to live their dreams. Here are the top myths that stifle people's dreams.

1.They’re all pyramid schemes.
A pyramid scheme is just a money game. There’s no real product or service. You make money basically by signing up people–which is illegal. A legitimate company supplies a real viable product or service to the marketplace.

2.Only those that get in early make money.
I don’t see how this makes any logical sense. If a company is legitimate, then it shouldn’t matter when you get in, because you can still make money. However, if a company only exists to scam as many people as possible before going out of business, then I could see this myth making sense in that regard.

3.You must go door to door peddling products.
Back in the early Amway days, before computers and the technology we have today, the only way to sell products was door to door. Remember Avon, Kirby vacuum cleaners and the Fuller Brush man? In the technology age, door to door selling becomes a thing of the past, unless you want to work harder and not smarter.

4.You have to recruit your friends.
When network marketing (mlm) first started, recruiting friends into your opportunity was the norm due to convenience. It didn’t take much effort or any marketing skill to do so. The result sometimes ended in massive failures and estranged friendships. There are people who still solely teach this marketing method. In this day and age, it’s not a necessity to resort to this technique, because many people all over the world want to work from home and actively seek opportunities to do so. Those are the ones you want to seek out for your business.

5.You have to buy a lot of product.
Some companies’ compensation plans do require a lot of stocking or front loading of products in order to earn your full commissions. Keep in mind that this type of compensation plan is designed for people who are good at retailing a lot of products. You usually make higher commissions in this type of plan. There are many companies out there that do not have such heavy requirements. Read the policies and procedures and the compensation plan before you join a company.

6.There are a lot of “fly by night” companies.
Companies go out of business for various reasons. That’s why it’s important to choose a company that is at least two years old. It reduces your risk of it going under with your time, effort and money invested in it.

7.You have to be outgoing or the “salesman” type to make money.
So many people nowadays are turned of by the “salesman” type of approach. People respond better to people who are sincere, real, and friendly.

8.You have to invest a large amount of money to get started.
Many companies exist where you can get started on a shoestring budget. Network Marketing has all the benefits of having a franchise, but without all the hassles of having employees and high overhead costs. Network marketing is a cost effective way to start a business.

9.You have to recruit your family.
